Our purpose as a church is first and foremost to glorify God in all that we do. (1 Cor. 31:10) The life of a church can become busy about many things, but Valley Avenue Baptist Church always has as our top priority to do what honors and pleases God. God deserves that we do all that we do with holiness, reverence and excellence.

God's plan was the local church. He has called us to gather together and to help each other to grow in the knowledge of the Truth, to grow in our service to God and to grow in unity as a church family. (Eph. 4:12)

Just before Jesus ascended back to His Father in Heaven, He commissioned His churches to go into the world to spread the Gospel to all nations and then to baptize and disciple those who receive the Gospel. (Matthew 28:19-20) A church who is Glorifying the Lord and Growing the Body will be best equipped to Go Into the World.
